Our most popular ceramic drum. 9"x15" ceramic drum with a fishskin head. Due to the relocation of our ceramic studio, our production will be on hold until after the 1st of the year. Our Ceramic Doumbeks have been a market leader since we began making doumbeks in 1973. Each Mid-East Ceramic Doumbek is hand made in the USA, where resident Potter, Bjrn Straube, continues to make them exactly as they were in 1973. The fixed fish skin head and the ceramic body provide what some master drummers say is the best sound. If you haven't tried a ceramic drum, you are in for a treat. Remember fish skin heads will be affected when playing where humidity levels can vary.
